Installation
The work consists of 3×7×12cm panels arranged in a domino-like sequence.
These fragments of the self, shaped by the influence of others, may appear to stand firmly in place but they are fragile, easily unsettled by the slightest shift. And yet, when they fall, they do not shatter. Instead, they rearrange themselves, finding a new sense of balance. This cycle of collapse and reconstruction reflects the ever-changing nature of the self and the ongoing journey of seeking equilibrium within it.
이 작품은 외부의 흔들림과 마찰을 통해 스스로를 인식하게 되는 작가의 경험을 담은 작품이다. 다양한 형태의 영향을 받으며 점점 선명해지는 신체적, 정신적 자아를 표현한다. 연약함과 단단함, 날카로움과 부드러움이 공존하는 이 조각들은 변화와 균형을 품고 있다.
서로의 영향을 받아 형성된 조각들은 제자리를 지키며 서 있지만, 작은 충격에도 쉽게 쓰러질 수 있다. 그러나 쓰러진 조각들은 깨지거나 부서지지 않고, 새로운 균형을 찾아간다. 이러한 무너짐과 재구성의 과정은, 끊임없이 변화하는 자아와 그 안에서 균형을 찾아가는 여정을 상징한다.
